Willkommen zum monatlichen inspireINK Blog Hop. Diesen Monat ist das Thema Beileid/Trauer. Ein schwieriges Thema für mich. Aber es gehört zum Leben dazu. Wenn diese Karten jemandem Trost spenden, dann macht es nichts, wenn das Basteln weniger Spaß gemacht hat.
Welcome to our monthly inspireINK blog hop. The theme this month is Sympathy. A difficult theme for me but it is part of our lives. If the cards give comfort to someone, it does not matter that the crafting of it was less fun than usual.
Beim Pootlers Teamtreffen hatte meine Freundin Janice ein Make-and-Take mit der Maskiertechnik mit uns gebastelt. Das habe ich für meine Karten benutzt. Ich habe einen Kreis aus Papier ausgestanzt und über die Kartenbasis gelegt. Dann einfach mit verschiedenen Blautönen und Blending Pinseln über das „Loch“ gewischt.
During our last Pootlers team event, my friend Janice did a make-and-take with us, using the masking technique. That’s what I have used for my cards. I die-cut a circle from a piece of paper and put it on top of the card layer. Then I have used different blue inks and blending brushes to colour the „hole“.
Die Blätter habe ich mit dem neuen Exklusive Online Stempelset Changing Leaves verwendet. Der erste Versuch hat mir nicht so gut gefallen, also habe ich es noch einmal versucht, mit einem kleineren Zweig. Viel besser!
For the leaves I have used the new online exclusive stamp set Changing Leaves. I did not like the my first attempt much so I tried again with smaller leaves. Much better!
Da ich nicht gerne etwas verschwende, habe ich die erste Karte trotzdem fertig gemacht. Ich habe mit dem Spruch einen Teil der Blätter überdeckt, was mir viel besser gefällt.
I don’t like to waste things so I have finished the first card. I covered up some of the leaves with the a strip of cardstock and the sentiment. It looks much better now.
